Additive Manufacturing Area
The Additive Manufacturing Area of IMH Campus is a state-of-the-art workshop dedicated to the latest industrial technologies in additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Its aim is to train students and technical staff in this emerging technology within the 4.0 industry.
Its objective is to contribute in a convincing way to the acceleration of the learning curve of the people and companies that use it, and to the application and industrialization of the advantages that 3D printing can bring to the productive processes.
Research, development and demonstration are also objectives of this facility, which concentrates machines of five of the most promising technologies in additive manufacturing.
Manufacture of structural components in various metallic materials:
LPBF, LMD/Cladding and BMD
Manufacture of large format structural components for plastics and polymers:
MULTIJET FUSION, FDM and SLA technologies
Machines located in the Additive Manufacturing Area of IMH Campus
