Additive Manufacturing of Metals Innovation Project: New Start in Tknika

Coinciding with the start of the school year, participants from different vocational training centres met at Tknika to start the new year of the innovation project in Additive Manufacturing of metals. This project has provided the participants with new learning opportunities.

The Additive Manufacturing of metals is a technical field in constant growth and innovation that has been consolidated as a fundamental process in Advanced Manufacturing, promoting the transformation of the way of thinking, designing and manufacturing products.

For this reason, the participants in this project recently visited Amorebieta to learn about the latest developments in this industry at the Super Metal Day organised by the Automotive Intelligence Center (AIC).

In this event, promoted by leading groups such as ABB, Bcnvision Group - Artificial Vision, Fronius Spain and Kapture.io, the latest developments in collaborative welding and visual quality control were presented.

The event has been very enriching for the participants, who have returned with new ideas and knowledge that will allow them to deepen their knowledge in the field of Additive Metal Fabrication.
