IMH Vocational Training participates in IMTS 2024 in Chicago
IMH Vocational School attended the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024, held at the prestigious McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. This event, considered the leading machine tool show in America and one of the most relevant worldwide, brought together experts from the advanced manufacturing, automation and metal processing industries.
IMTS, organised by the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), provides an exceptional platform for innovation in manufacturing technology. During the show, the latest trends and developments in areas such as machine tools, accessories and components, cutting tools, additive manufacturing and automation were presented.
Among the highlights was the Smartforce Student Summit, designed to inspire young students to explore careers in manufacturing. This event allowed teachers and students of all levels to interact with the most innovative technologies and experience engaging learning focused on the future of the industry.
The IMH not only had the opportunity to explore new tools and technologies, but was also able to participate in lectures and panel discussions that fostered the exchange of ideas and strategies on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education.
IMH's participation in events such as IMTS is key to ensuring that our educators are aware of the latest innovations and can pass that knowledge on to our students. The school remains committed to training future professionals who are skilled and ready to face the challenges of the manufacturing sector.
