Milena Gaitan, student of the Master in Digital Manufacturing, and her company tutor Camilo Cortés, share their experience of the dual training at Vicomtech.
Milena:
‘What I like most about the master's degree is that it is dual, with paid internships. This is crucial, as it allows you to finance it while gaining experience and applying knowledge in parallel, optimising your time and dedicating yourself 100% to training’.
In addition, Milena points out that the content of the Master's is perfectly aligned with the current needs of any industry in the midst of digital transformation: ‘The subjects address all the technologies and soft skills that any modern company, large or small, requires to stay competitive’.
From the perspective of the collaborating companies, Vicomtech, one of the reference centres in the field of applied research, shares the importance of dual training.
💬 Camilo:
‘For Vicomtech, participating in the master's degree has been fundamental to boost digital manufacturing, especially in the field of 3D bioprinting, within our R&D&I projects’. The contribution and reinforcement in digital manufacturing has been essential and highly valued for the continuity of bio-manufacturing projects, which include, among other skills, CAD and CAM design, visual computing and additive manufacturing, topics addressed by the master's degree in Digital Manufacturing.
This type of collaboration not only boosts the development of strategic R&D&I projects, but also allows companies to access highly qualified young talents who already have practical training in the most cutting-edge technologies on the market.
You are just in time to transform your company by welcoming the students of this year's new edition. For more information, please contact Oier Uriarte Gil or Leire Alberdi Zabala.
