Smoke-free zone: respect and help to make respect.

As a school we are responsible for the physical, psychological and social well-being of students, so we need the involvement of all of us, IMH community, to deal with this.

As a school, we are responsible for the physical, mental and social well-being of our students. The use of drugs (legal and illegal) may, on the one hand, harm the individual well-being of students, and, on the other hand, create danger and hindrance in the learning process.

In addition, the law prohibits the use of drugs in the educational sphere.

For this reason, a Commission, composed of IMH colleagues, teachers, counsellors and a AGIPAD technician, has drawn up a protocol indicating that smoking is not permitted in the areas of the school and that it cannot be under the influence of drugs in the classroom ().

In order to implement all this, we need the involvement of all of us who make up the IMH:

  • on the one hand, to set an example, and if we have to smoke, we have to go outside the school area.
  • and, on the other hand, by making others respect the rule, for instance, by asking them to leave, or to go abroad, if we see someone smoking in the fields of the school.

All this has been done with the aim of improving our situation with regard to consumption and achieving a smoke-free zone within the school area.

Thank you.
