Higher Level Training Cycles
Characteristics of Higher Level Training Cycles:
- The higher level training cycles are studied in two years, with a total of 2,000 hours of training.
- They can be done in the Dual Model.
- The cycles are made up of several modules or subjects, which are taught through challenges.
- Training at the workplace (internships) can be done in local companies or abroad (the latter through the Eramus + programme)
- A project/challenge-based methodology (also known as ETHAZI) is used.
- Students can participate in exchanges with European schools through the Erasmus + programme.
- At the end of the training, the IMH manages a job bank in order to help students find a job.

After finishing a higher training cycle, there are several options:
- Dual Specialization Courses (in Manufacturing and Mechatronics).
- University degree: IMH DUAL Engineering in Process and Product Innovation.
Admission requirements
Any of the following:
- High School diploma (Bachillerato LOE)
- High School diplona (Bachillerato LOGSE)
- Intermediate Level Training Cycle certificate
- COU
- BTI
- FP2
- Entrance exam by the Department of Education of the Basque Government
